Nuclear Fission
- German scientists discover Nuclear Fission.
- Nuclear Fission happens when an incident neutron hits a fissionable nucleus, the nucleus then undergoes a process: first it splits in two and releases energy, fission products (radioactive nuclei), gamma rays, and three more incident neutrons and intern hit more nuclei then the process continues.
- Nuclear fission produces energy for nuclear power and to drive the explosion of nuclear weapons.
